My Mom Needs A Psychatrist

So I think that my mom needs to start seeing a Psychiatrist. She has no concept of what it means to ‘have a life.’ Because she has nothing to do with her life besides shop and gossip with the family, she thinks that I don’t either. Get a clue… I work, I go to school and any time that is left over after that goes towards doing homework, cleaning or TRYING to hang out with my friends. I have 3 weeks off in between the summer and fall semesters and she thinks I want to spend it with her in my face. NO, I don’t. I want to go on vacation with my boyfriend and get some things straightened out in my life before it gets all hectic again.
Because she doesn’t get her way, she sends the most ridiculous texted messages which I find rather hilarious! She says she won’t pay for my school anymore and that she’s cutting me out of her will. She thinks she can manipulate me with her money but she’s sadly mistaken. Any smart mother would realize that they’re pushing their kid away by acting like a complete asshole, but not her. She thinks she is always right and that if you don’t agree with her, she listens with deaf ears. Because she is a good actress and twists all of her stories to make me sound like a horrible daughter, the family thinks I’m wrong. I will not feed into her psychoticness and promote her horrible behavior as a mother. She needs to realize I’m not like her and understand I’m my own individual! Being different is something she needs to learn to accept rather than disagree with.
I don’t have time to talk all the time and I don’t want to hear about any of the family gossip…I don’t care! If she could ever figure this out, we might actually be able to have a normal relationship. Until then though she needs to leave me alone with all the drama she tries to force on me!
