Haiti

Relief coming form across the globe….So once again, we are sending a massive relief effort somewhere other than our own countryyyyy!!! …the US military, every branch of the service plus the Coast Gurad are all on route to Haiti, airforce planes out of FL, 2,000 marines out of Camp Lajune, the Army’s 82nd airbourne with heavy equipment, water, food,medicine, supplies, doctors, nurses, paramedics, and rescue missions. The top priority right now for his national security team is Haiti, from Obama’s mouth, www.state.gov to find out about Haitians. One of the largest relief efforts EVER in our recent history is on it’s way to Haiti right now. $100 million allocated immediately, what has happened will cost muchhhhh more than that….and presumably more money will be coming. Massive amounts of aide will be required. Estimated that it could be a possible half million dead.

Now they are discussing, that we bring over 1 million Haitiansssss to Detroit and take care of them here instead of there because it’s easier and we have “empty buildings just sitting there”!!! We can’t fucking take care of the city or the people that live there now, but somehow we can bring over an additional million non-Americans to our country (that will never leave once they are here). Also, we have Katrina victims still homeless. jobless…but oh well who cares.

Holy Hot Flashes

I think that I suffer from hot flashes worst than most women that are going through menopause. I will be in mid-sentence when all of the sudden I’m having a heat stroke and have sweat running down my back. Now this always happens when it’s that time of the month for most women but that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about just sitting back, relaxing and then being overwhelmed with heat that should only be felt in the middle of The Sahara or while sitting on the sun!! I immediately get clam hands, a scalp as sweaty as a ball sack and instant nausea as if I’ve been locked in a sauna for the past week and a half.

Someone just tell me if there is medication for something like this or is sticking my head in the freezer or pretending I need more beer to stock at work so I can stand in the large walk-in cooler the only way to address the situation at hand?!? OMG but I think I’m being attacked by hotness RIGHT NOW……..AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! HELPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!

Spine Bifida

Can we talk about my spine-bifida? I’m in so much pain I’m considering snooping around outside of a chiropractor’s office or a massage parlor in order to find a man that works there that I can marry. Then I will never have to deal with this pain ever again. It runs down my legs and makes my legs buckle and they go numb every now and then. I think this is a result of being on my feet 6 days a week for hours at a time. Anyone who wants to rub me down everyday….LET ME KNOW because this is not healthy for my body! I will consider hopping into a relationship with you just to reap the benefits! Sorry, but I will be using you for your magical hands on my back, rear end, legs and feet…. I’m not going to lie, that is it!

Fitness Foods

Ok people, so I eat and drink a lot of things I probably shouldn’t. After trying to figure out what foods I should be eating and the drinks I should be drinking to go along with working out . . . . . here they are!            

Pineapples and Papaya

            These fruits help break down proteins for digestion but also speed-up your recovery after working out.

PB & J’s and Pasta w/ Meat Sauce

            These are both about 400 calories, 20-30 grams of protein, and 50-65 grams of carbs. They are considered perfect post-weight training foods because they help build and repair muscle.

Pork Tenderloin

            This is a waist-trimming food. Lean meats are low in calories and a great source of protein. Eating more proteins decreases the “tire” around your waist.

Coffee

            This is a good pain reliever and should be drunk after a workout to reduce soreness. The caffeine in it helps to block the pain receptors from activating.

Cold Water

            It gives you endurance ;)

Chocolate Milk

            Considering I’m ADDICTED to milk and love to add some chocolate here and there, I loved this one. Milk has definitely been proven to re-hydrate the body better than water after a workout due to having more electrolytes and potassium.  With adding chocolate to the mix, it balances fats, carbs and proteins to allow your muscles to recover more quickly after exercise.
