So I’ve been trying to pick up as many shifts as possible at work in order to pay for my classes this semester but I don’t think that’s going to happen. It’s quite stressful trying to figure out how I’m going to pay my bills let alone pay for anything extra like school. The tuition rises 18% every semester and the prices per credit hour are becoming quite ridiculous. I’ve already had to drop one class and am hoping to be able to come up with the money for the other class in 10 days. I’ve got my fingers crossed and I hope you do too! I guess the worst case scenario is that I can’t afford to pay this semester but can work like crazy to save up and pay for the spring semester.
It just sucks because I don’t make that much money but I make too much to qualify for FAFSA or any grants. What is that shit? I can’t afford to pay my monthly bills but the government thinks I can afford thousands of dollars a semester for classes and book. . . I don’t get it. If I don’t qualify, then who does?! Somebody show me the secret to getting my hands on some of this money or help me find a real job already because I have not been successful at that either!
